Dear Parents and Guardians,
In light of the violence in various schools throughout the United States we here at North Clarion are always looking for ways to provide a safer environment for your children. Therefore I am asking for your help in two areas:
1. When entering the school, at any time during the day, it is very important that you sign in at the office. Even though your child attends school here, everyone may not know who you are. The students and staff are required to report anyone without a visitors tag to the office. Please save yourself any embarrassment by following this guideline.
2. If you need to meet with a teacher regarding your child, please make an appointment beforehand by calling the office. I ask that you not go directly to the teacher’s room unless you have called first or checked the office to see if the teacher is available. Teachers have many duties in the morning and may not be able to give their full attention to your concerns. By making an appointment you will be assured of the undivided attention of the teacher. It will also enable the teacher to have time to consult with others who will be able to assist you in helping your child.
