_____________________________________

Located between the North Clarion County Elementary School Building and the North Clarion County Junior Senior High School Building is a Veterans Memorial Park.

The Memorial Park was designed and built in 2001, under the leadership of Mr. Moore and the North Clarion Chapter of the Junior Historians.

The "Junior Historians" group is a high school organization started in 1956 and affiliated with the Pennsylvania Federation of Junior Historians.

The organization’s mission is to aid in the preservation and advancement of the ideals for which the Commonwealth was founded and to encourage the practice of good citizenship.

Restoration and marking of historic spots and cooperation with other state and community historical societies and agencies are other important objectives, enabling the young people of Pennsylvania to help preserve the rich heritage of Pennsylvania for future generations.

Each year, engraved bricks are added to memorialize the veterans who have passed away.
If you know the name of a local veteran not represented, please contact the high school.

The North Clarion High School Junior Historians maintain the park.

Mrs. Jennifer Barron and Mrs. Paula Williams are the current advisers and are faculty members at North Clarion.

Please visit the memorial at any time and reflect on the great sacrifices made for the freedom of America.
