Dear Parents,
Hello! Next week we will be busy with the following:
LANGUAGE ARTS: We will be reading “The Storm” on pp. 38-48. We will work with the letters r, h, -s(z), b, g, -it, and short i. The sight words are for, what, have, he, look, too. We will work with nouns (places and things), context clues, characters, infer/predict, and writing captions for pictures. Test Friday. Please practice the sight word list and read and read the story every night. J
SPELLING: if is him rip fit

The spelling pretest will be Wed. and the graded test will be Friday.
MATH: We will be working with addition facts with sums through 8.
SUPER STARS for the week of Sept. 22 will be Evan Pawlowicz and Addison Thomas. We are looking forward to seeing their picture posters!
