North Clarion County School District has an anticipated opening for a full-time permanent Physics Teacher. Interested candidates should send resume, PA Standard Application, cover letter, copy of teaching certificate, transcripts, Acts 34, 151, 168 , and FBI clearances to: Steven Young, Superintendent, North Clarion County School District, 10439 Route 36, Tionesta, PA 16353. North Clarion County School District anticipates an opening for an Elementary Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year and a one-year Elementary Class Size Reduction position for the 2026–2027 school year. Applicants must hold a valid Pennsylvania Elementary Teaching Certificate and be certified to teach grades 3 through 6.
Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest, resume, standard teacher application, college transcripts, child abuse clearance, criminal clearance, FBI clearance, teaching certificate, three current letters of recommendation, testing scores, Act 168 Employment History Form and any other supporting documents to Mr. Steven Young Superintendent, North Clarion County School District, 10439 Route 36, Tionesta, PA 16353. The North Clarion School District had a high school student make a global threat today directed toward the high school and the last day of school. The District has notified the Pennsylvania State Police, and our School Police Officers are aware of the situation.
The incident is being addressed by all appropriate parties, and at this time there is no reason for concern. However, I wanted to make you aware of the situation in case you hear about it through the media.

Please join! Support Group for parents of children and adults with disabilities. Meetings take place the first Thursday of each month from 6-8 PM at Cornerstone of Clarion. The Arc of Clarion will be available to provide an activity and supervision for individuals while parents are in the meeting.
