North Clarion County School District

North Clarion County Elementary School

North Clarion Elementary Students planted a school garden on May 24th, 2017.  The garden is located behind the Elementary School and contains Tomatoes, Potatoes, Pumpkins, Corn, and Sunflowers.  Students in all grades participated in planting the garden with the help of Terry Moore (Retired Teacher) and Rosie Lawrence (Little Sprouts director).  Long Acres Farm was instrumental in preparing the site for proper gardening.  This garden was also made possible with grant funding from the Tractor Supply School Garden Grant and the Pennsylvania Farm to School Grant.
